MicroNeedling is a minimally invasive treatment to rejuvenate skin…It improves fine lines, wrinkles, acne scars, hyperpigmentation, stretch marks and other, by stimulating the skin’s natural ability to repair itself.

How does it work?

MicroNeedling is a procedure whereby a “pen” with 12 micro needles are used to puncture the very first layer of the skin, It’s  colled ‘controlled skin injury.’… These ‘micro-wounds’ trigger the body to fill in these holes by producing new collagen and elastin in the dermis along with new capillaries.

What does it treat?

The new blood flow and collagen production results in improvement of scars and rejuvenation of the skin. The texture, firmness and hydration of the skin are improved. MicroNeedling is also referred to as collagen induction therapy (CIT).

How often can the treatment be done?

MicroNeedling can be done every 4 to 6 weeks, depending on how deep the treatment was done in the previous session

Is there any “down time” ?

There is no “down time” after a Microneedling treatment. The treated area will be slightly red for 30 min after the treatment. Skin might be senetive for 24 -48 hours after treatment.

When can you expect to see results?

Results will be visible within day 4 after treatment. The treated area will feel slightly dry 2 to 3 days after the treatment as well as slightly flaky
